You should already have OS 9.1, 9.2.1, or 9.2.2 installed on your computer in order for this CD to be most useful. There are programs which do not run properly in Mac OS X 10.0.3's Classic mode. Thus, being able to reboot into OS 9 might sometimes be a necessity.
If you don't have access to the 10.1 update, you need to purchase our Mac OS X 10.1 bundle instead of this item. This would enable you to upgrade all the way to Mac OS X 10.1.5.
